Van Horebeek podiums in Romagne
Factory Kawasaki CLS racer, Jeremy Van Horebeek, has put in a strong performance to gain his third consecutive podium in the French Elite Motocross championship in Romagne.
‘The Jerre’ quickly came to grips with the tacky and rutted circuit however a crash in the start of moto 1 would leave him with loads of work to do. Carving through the field the feisty Belgian worked his way from 23rd spot up to 7th position by the end of the 25 min + 2 lap moto.
The same mistake due to a bottle neck in the second turn again saw Van Horebeek on the ground. This time he was able to remount a little quicker and he once again executed and great comeback ride to better his first moto result with 6th spot at the checkered flag.
Determined not to be caught out in the start again, ‘The Jerre’ made sure he was near the front of the pack for the final moto. He quickly put himself on the top of MX2 leader board and never looked back from there.
“The final moto was more like it! I really enjoyed this track as it is more GP style with lots of ruts and tacky. This has been the perfect preparation for the GP’s and we are now ready to go. Our bikes are awesome, my fitness is the best it has ever been so I am looking for to Bulgaria.” Said a confident Van Horebeek.
