Luckless Loket GP for Jeremy Van Horebeek

The 13^th round of the FIM Motocross world championship saw 21.000 spectators line the picturesque circuit of Loket in the Czech Repulic this weekend.  KTM Factory Junior rider, Jeremy Van Horebeek, had to deal with mechanical issues in his qualification race and moto 1 however he still managed to nurse his bike home to 15^th spot to salvage a few championship points.

The second moto went better for Van Horebeek as he got out the gate well and rounded the first lap in 8^th spot.  Van Horebeek pushed hard to try and keep in touch with the leading bunch as he worked his way up to 6^th.  He put in a last minute effort to catch Nicolas Aubin,  however the Frenchman stood his ground as Van Horebeek followed  him home 5 seconds adrift.

“We had a tough weekend but worked through the issues and I managed  to get a decent result in the second moto.  I need to think ahead now to Lierop and focus on preparing for the sand.  The last two GP’s are important for me to finish off the year on a good level. “ said Van Horebeek.

The penultimate round of the 15 round series will take place in Lierop on the 29-30 August.
